Collection: Bocetos, estudios

This series brings together works that don’t aim for a definitive piece, but for the moment before— that free space where anything can happen. These drawings explore gesture, form and the energy of an idea still in motion. Here, error is not a flaw but part of the process; spontaneity becomes a tool for discovery.

The sketches enter into dialogue with art history—Velázquez, Goya, the tradition of the unfinished—but also with the urgency of the present. Many begin from masterpieces, others from imagined scenes or studies from life. What unites them is their open, fragmentary nature: sometimes brutal, always honest.

Each drawing is a test, an experiment, a visual thought. You can sense in them the preparation for other works, yet they possess their own autonomous strength. They are fragments of the creative process, charged with intention and doubt. In their apparent fragility lies their truth.
