Collection: Acuarelas

This series gathers works made on watercolor paper, where gesture, color, and composition take precedence over meticulous detail. Some pieces—such as those depicting fruit or deer heads—were painted quickly and intuitively, aiming to capture an immediate impression, a presence rather than a finished form.

Other watercolors focus on antique toys and are approached with a more introspective gaze. Through color, contrast, and empty space, they convey a sense of isolation, even a certain melancholy. In these works, the everyday becomes symbolic, and each object seems to hold an intimate, silent story that unfolds without words.
