In Study 011, the figure is built with strikes of lines, driven by impulses that deform, overflow, and constantly reconfigure it. There is something almost archaeological in the process: layers of strokes emerging like remnants, traces, ghosts of a form that never quite settles.
The face appears and disappears in a swarm of gestures, as if the drawing were a battle between memory and matter. There are no defined contours, only an open struggle between what is suggested and what resists being named.
Here, there is no intention to portray, but to excavate. The image becomes a vibrating field where mistakes, excess, and accumulation are part of the discovery. A convulsive, restless memory that seeks not clarity, but intensity.
