In Still Life 048, I worked from an assemblage of plastic bottles, deformed cans, and small forgotten objects. My intention was to portray that silent landscape formed by what daily life leaves behind: waste that was once useful, now surviving as mute witnesses. I was drawn to the contrast between industrial shapes and the fragility of the drawing, which underscores the precariousness of everything around us. Through charcoal and pastel, I tried to give weight to these minimal remnants, reminding us that every object, even in its abandonment, still has a story to tell.
