In Still Life Series 7.1, I brought together deformed bottles and small toy horses in a scene where the objects seem to have lost their original purpose. I worked in a more gestural way, letting broken lines and primary colors convey the precariousness and absurdity of the remnants we leave behind. The contrast between discarded plastic materials and the symbolic innocence of the toys creates a tension that speaks of a world where the ephemeral and the forgotten coexist. As with the rest of the series, I aim for the viewer to find in these fragments an open question about consumption and memory.
